Grandpa's old photos
I started going through the slides and pictures last night. There are many carousels that are souvenir slides and not original pictures.
My nearest guess is that there are about 400 slides to be scanned.
I did the first batch last night. One was labelled "1977" and the other was not labeled but most slides had what looks like MONTH and YY embossed on the back.
I would love to have anyones feedback on who, what, where, and when these pictures were taken.
As I scan then in I'll get them posted to my Flickr account as soon as possible. If you'd like you can leave comments if you have any additional information about the photo. At some point later I will save these comments and other details as part of the photo file and then figure out a way to get everyone copies.
I had a great time scanning the slides last night. It was like opening Christmas presents.
Sunday Dinner at Mineral Way
Dinner at my house yesterday.
Enchiladas and home made salsa and chips.
Lots of Wii and Guitar Hero. The kids played at the park in the nice weather and the older boys played catch.
Farrah ate yogurt.
Shay says he might be able to help me fix my sprinkler valve box that has been the thorn in my side for 2 years.

Hi everyone this is josh and we won the A's 25-0 i scored twice and stole home and got on base 5 times i made 3 outs 2 tags and 1 throw out on my 2nd hit i scored 2 people
Spring Baseball 2008
The boys had their first games of the season on Saturday.
Jalon also had his first t-ball game in the same park.
Auntie Sam, Mom, and Dad were all there to cheer.
Josh is very excited about playing second base this year.
Xander might get a chance to prove himself on third base this year too.
Farrah didn't to play because it was too windy. How cute.
Sunday Dinner at Nicklaus Road
We had dinner at Mom & Dad's last night.
Dad told lots of great stories about the background of the Royal Copenhagen plates and some other heirloom stuff.
Josh and Xander messed with the old candlestick phone.
We had great meatloaf with mashed potatoes and salad.
Cake and ice cream for mark's belated birthday.
